PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSITANT

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The PTA will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans designed by physical therapists.
  • Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising therapist.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during treatments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
  • Valid PTA license in California.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in outpatient rehab settings is a plus.

FRONT DESK ASSITANT

Job Summary:

This key position is responsible for all front desk duties, including delivering exceptional customer service, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, scheduling appointments, handling referrals, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and collecting payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and Welcome Patients Warmly: Offer a friendly and welcoming environment for all patients.
  • Manage Patient Check-Ins and Check-Outs: Follow company policies and procedures to ensure all necessary documents are complete and accurate.
  • Answer Phones and Direct Inquiries: Handle phone calls pleasantly and direct patients and others to the appropriate area or person.
  • Register Patients and Manage EMR Accounts: Accurately create and update patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Schedule Appointments Efficiently: Organize appointments for both new and existing patients with precision.
  • Perform Administrative Duties: Prepare patient charts/documents, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, enter data, and collect payments promptly.
  • Complete Opening/Closing Duties: Carry out all necessary tasks for opening and closing the office and other duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit Exceptional Customer Service: Maintain HIPAA compliance and demonstrate outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, basic office support skills (telephone, filing, data entry), and basic math skills.
  • Customer Service: Excellent telephone etiquette, a pleasant personality, and outstanding customer service skills.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
